It’s been a year like no other and I’m sure for many of you it’s put a lot of things in perspective and given you lots to think about.
For me it definitely has. This year, through a strange series of circumstances, I’ve ended up losing my job, but I’m hoping it’s been a blessing in disguise.
You see, I’ve always enjoyed betting and trading and have been doing reasonably well, making steady profits for over a year now. I’ve always wanted to see if I could make it as a professional gambler and trader.
What’s stopped me taking the plunge until now?
But now I’m at a crossroads. Should I apply for another job and carry on working for someone else? Doing the same things, bored and daydreaming of something else? Do I really want to carry on in this rat race until I’m an old man?
Or is this a golden opportunity to try what I’ve always wanted to do?
After all, what have I got to lose? (Other than my savings, sanity and spouse!).
But I have a plan and Josh at Bet Chat is going to help me document every step of this journey in this weekly diary. All the highs, all the lows and all the moments in between.
I hope that by doing this I can help readers out there who want to go on the same journey. There might be a few things you learn from it and there might be some things you can teach me (feel free to let me know!)
I can’t promise to be an expert on everything but I’ll try my best to give you some practical tips and share the reality of day to day life as a pro gambler without boring you too much with all the finer details.
In my next entry, I will walk you through the terrifying gauntlet that was preparing my pro gambling business plan to the Mrs!
