“Absolutely horrendous do not book”

Reporting from the road, somewhere between Dorset and Blackpool…

Hi,

A pilgrimage from all over Europe…

Hundreds of supremely talented sportspeople…

And a host venue that has everybody talking…

Yes, that’s right, I’m excited because it’s time for…

Euro 2… Golden 8 Ball, ‘the prestigious blackball pool weekend’!!

I mean, who needs venues like the Olympiastadion Berlin when you have the Norbreck Castle Hotel?

A pair of free tips for the Euros

While my attention may be fully on G8 right now, I can accept that yours is probably more focused on Euro 2024, and so today I thought I’d treat you to a couple of free tips from our professional football bettor, Adam Cheng, along with his reasoning…

Euro 2024

Group E Winner: Ukraine

Euro 2024
Outright
Group E To Qualify: Ukraine
1/2 (1.5) bet365, Bet Victor, Betfred

Group E is unlikely to contain the winner of Euro 2024, but it may provide the best bet of the group stages, with Ukraine overpriced at 11/2 to win it.

The Blue and Yellow performed well in qualifying, deserving of their draws with Italy and England at neutral venues and only missing out on automatic qualification on goal difference from the Italians. They have plenty of players plying their trade for big European clubs and striker Artem Dovbyk has just topped the La Liga goalscoring charts with 24 goals to fire Girona into the Champions League.

Sergiy Rebrov’s team, who have lost just one in ten under his tenure, will be more at home than most, with some of their recent matches having taken place in Germany, and they will be supported by a large, emotional following.

Favourites for the group, Belgium, scored one goal in the World Cup 18 months ago and they rely heavily on Kevin De Bruyne, who is rarely able to play successive matches in a short space of time. Jan Vertonghen, now 37, is likely to start. The match between the two teams is last up in the group which for a number of reasons may favour Ukraine.

Romania have been mostly absent from major tournaments this century, had a relatively easy qualifying group and most of the squad play in either minor European leagues or for unheralded clubs. It is puzzling to see them at only slightly bigger prices than Ukraine in the win and qualify markets.

Slovakia make up the section and have low expectations. The Elo-ratings, a decent guide to world ranking, have Romania and Slovakia 48th and 49th respectively, while Ukraine are 15th. Belgium are 8th and should be favourites for the group but not to such an extent as the prices suggest.*********************************

Adam sent those selections out to his members on Monday and they’re just two of many value ante-post bets, and indeed regular bets, that he’ll have on the tournament.

You can sign up to receive all of them here and, best of all, if his selections don’t make an overall profit at the Euros, you can get your money back.

If you have any questions about the service, you can drop us a line at clients@thebetchat.com, otherwise I shall bid you good day as I’m not far away from the promised land…

Wish me luck!
