Clive’s Betting Diary: Catching Up In More Ways Than One

This series is all about the ups and downs of a tipster portfolio approach to sports betting. It’s not here to directly promote any of the services and it’s certainly not here to criticise them either (after all, I’d be quite the fool to stake my own money on a service I don’t have faith in!)

Ultimately, the sole goal is to show that, despite the natural peaks and troughs, it is possible to make a good side income from sports betting if you follow the right services. All it takes is a little bit of organisation, and plenty of patience!

Please Note: I’ve written an introduction to this betting diary feature which you will need to read first to make sense of the below. You can find it on the Bet Chat website by clicking this link.

Horseracing

Freebies

A £176 profit from this group with a particularly fine showing from Racing Consultants (£148) and Hidden Winners (£73, no losing days). A nice first week for Winning Service.

Northern Monkey

Well, this was the week we have been waiting for and hopefully the start of something good. A £500 profit picked up from a treble at the new Racing League which I can’t stand watching but can tolerate just on a race watching basis.

Love

Still biding his time with a small £46 loss. That’s fine while we wait for a good week.

First Class Racing

No selections.

Racecracker

The second half of August has been quite hard with a further £108 lost but we’re still over £300 in profit for the whole of August.

Football

Inside Man

A -£84 week as the season plunges into early loss but it’s very early days.

Golf

Places for Schneider in Europe and Im in the States couldn’t prevent another week of loss at -£43. We don’t yet have enough in the golf pot (+411) to stake the remainder of the year and guarantee a profit for 2022. One more win, I reckon.

Darts

One bet for one win, +£62.50. Rich has clearly found a groove (£152 up since July) but doesn’t seem to have found much to bet on.

Tennis

Another £40 clawed back from early season losses.

Summary

This week shows a £442 gain, but it somehow doesn’t feel like it. I’m stuck in a workaholic zone, not of my own making, involved as I am in a new project at work.

The increase in bets through the freebies is causing much difficulty in keeping up to date with records and it didn’t help when I managed to fall down the concrete steps at the front of my house. I intend to bring this diary up to date very soon and fill you in on the progress of the freebies in a Bet Chat Diary special early next week.
