Reporting from Villa del Doggo, Spain…
Hi,
Sunday night kicked off an entertaining three-week period for me.
To come, I have a two-night stag do (not my marriage!) in the Republic of Ireland, followed by a 10-night holiday in the Canary Islands with #BetChatBarbie and family, but my first stop is a trip to my mum’s place in Spain which contains, among other things, six rescue dogs of varying shapes and sizes.
Given my well-established tradition of taking everyday things in my life and tenuously linking them to sports betting, today I thought I’d get you to choose your favourite dog…
Then – get this – depending on the dog you choose and its characteristics, you’ll be presented with a link to something that I think matches up perfectly to your deepest desires.
Exciting, eh?
Meet Daisy

Daisy is the newest addition and, at just seven months of age, she’s still growing. She’s super enthusiastic about everything which can be endearing or mildly annoying, depending on your mood.
Best suited to: Somebody who is able to put bets on promptly, as and when they come in, and doesn’t mind a relatively short track record if it’s full of promise.
If Daisy is for you, give this a try.
Meet Reg

There’s no question about it, Reg is cool. He’s that bloke in the pub who everyone likes because he listens and, when he does say something, it’s actually of value.
Best suited to: Somebody who likes profitable pub sports.
If Reg is your guy, click here now.
Meet Winnie

Honest, loyal, and a bit of a charmer, you can’t go wrong with Winnie. She’s low maintenance too, which is a real blessing.
Best suited to: Somebody who likes a reliable, quality over quantity service, with no unpleasant surprises.
If Winnie sounds like your cup of tea, this is where you click.
Meet Vera

I don’t think Vera is Welsh, but she feels like she should be. A big, friendly giant is the only way to describe her.
Best suited to: Somebody who likes a big, friendly freebie.
If you like the sound of Vera, head this way.
Meet Bunny

The enigma of the pack, Bunny is a bit of an odd ball but has a heart of gold and is fiercely protective of any new additions.
Best suited to: Somebody who isn’t afraid to try unusual approaches in a bid to make a profit.
Does Bunny take your fancy. Give this a try if so.
Meet Mabel

The OG dog, Mabel mainly lives outside (through choice), making it her duty to guard the family home. She’s a true expert in her chosen field, and very much not to be messed with.
Best suited to: Somebody who wants to back a well-established leader in their field.
Are you a Mabel too? Here’s the link.
Meet Summer

Finally, we have Summer who, as you may have guessed, isn’t a dog, and she’s also Andrea’s rather than my mum’s. She’s class but weirdly not to everyone’s tastes.
Best suited to: Somebody who likes betting on ‘love em or hate em’ sports.
Choose cat over dog? Choose this.
Well, I hope that proved enlightening or, failing that, you at least enjoyed today’s animal pics.
Feel free to email clients@thebetchat.com with guesses of what their breeds are. If you get any spot on without looking it up (unlikely), and I’m on the Estrella (likely), we’ll even give you a prize.
