It was a case of nearly but not quite for Friday’s International acca, with eight of nine winning, and the loser coming from the biggest priced selection…
A shame, but more proof that, in spite of the short prices, these international qualifying favourites do tend to offer value.

The Bet
Bosnia to beat Cyprus (19:45 TODAY)
Bosnia were perhaps a little fortunate to scupper our last bet by winning in Romania (they had an xG of 0.89, while Romania posted 1.65) but scupper it they did. Having won those three points, they’ll be desperate to avoid any silly slip ups at home to Cyprus, and they should really win comfortably.
England to beat Latvia (19:45 today)
A classic example of very short odds still being capable of producing value. Odds of 1/33 suggest that England would fail to beat Latvia at home three times out of 100. In reality, I’d be surprised if they failed to win one in 100.
Poland to beat Malta (19:45 today)
Poland weren’t impressive last time but did get the win over Lithuania. Malta are arguably an even weaker side, losing at home to Finland on Friday.
Romania to beat San Marino (19:45 today)
A must win for the Romanians and I’d be flabbergasted if there’s any other outcome.
Czech Republic to beat Gibraltar (19:45 tomorrow)
The Czechs made heavy weather of beating the Faroes, but they did still beat them. The Faroes are also a fair bit better than Gibraltar.
Kazakhstan to beat Liechtenstein (19:45 tomorrow)
Kazakhstan put up a decent fight in Wales, level 1-1 at the break, before eventually going down 3-1. They should have too much for a Liechtenstein side that are the worst in Europe on recent form.
Montenegro to beat Faroe Islands (19:45 tomorrow)
Home advantage is likely to prove crucial here and the Faroes are no Turkey (who Montenegro comfortably beat on their own patch the game before last)
