If there’s one thing guaranteed to improve our investing skills, it’s reading as much as possible about the field that we want to be proficient in. That was the thinking behind our regular ‘Scoops’ series and it’s proved very popular.
For us, we’ve been focusing mainly on cryptocurrency, but from now on we’re going to start alternating between that and more general finance articles.
We’ll also continue to ensure that there’s a mix of content for beginners, pros and everyone in between.
🍦 As has often been the case of late, there’s only one place to start, and that’s the weird world of Elon Musk. Earlier this week he caused a stir by joking about buying Premier League bottom club Manchester United, but the really big news is him selling $7billion of Tesla stock ahead of a court battle with Twitter. Here’s the story.
🍦 Moving away from Mr Musk but sticking with eye watering sums of money and this article here tell us that SoftBank has recorded a record $23billion quarterly loss. Oh, to have $23billion to lose!
🍦 In news that is more likely to actually affect us, Netflix is gearing up to launch its ad supported option. That’s not news to most but what you may not know is that this subscription option will also block downloads. Click here for the details.
🍦 And finally, let’s finish up with a creepy robot because, why not? Check out this guy’s facial expressions and then try not to have any nightmares!
On that note I’ll bid you adieu. Have a great Sunday and Kash with be back with a crypto Scoops next week.
