Everyone loves a recommendation don’t they?
That’s why, in this Sunday series, Bet Chat Bec and I will be highlighting the very best stuff we’ve been consuming with our eyes and ears over the preceding seven days.
It also – shock horror – won’t be purely stuff about sport, betting and investing. After all, having other interests and being able to ‘switch off’ is very much a good thing.
So, without further ado, let’s get started…
First up this week is a dual film/podcast recommendation with the two mediums telling the fascinating story of WeWork (and yes, the story of an office sharing space business really can be fascinating!)
The podcast is called WeCrashed and can be downloaded for free here.
The film is called WeWork: Or the Making and Breaking of a $47billion Unicorn. Full disclosure, I’ve not actually seen the film yet, but I know the story and I’ve heard good things from the Kermode and Mayo film review podcast and that’s good enough for me! You can watch the trailer below.
Next up, we have the news that OnlyFans have backtracked on their porn ban in a victory for sex workers over the morality police. Here’s the story.
Ever been to an Italian/Japanese fusion restaurant? I did on Wednesday and it was great! For a 10 course tasting menu and paired wines in London it was also pretty respectably priced.
