This series is all about the ups and downs of a tipster portfolio approach to sports betting. It’s not here to directly promote any of the services and it’s certainly not here to criticise them either (after all, I’d be quite the fool to stake my own money on a service I don’t have faith in!)
Ultimately, the sole goal is to show that, despite the natural peaks and troughs, it is possible to make a good side income from sports betting if you follow the right services. All it takes is a little bit of organisation, and plenty of patience!
Please Note: I’ve written an introduction to this betting diary feature which you will need to read first to make sense of the below. You can find it on the Bet Chat website by clicking this link.
Horseracing -£184
Northern Monkey reduced losses. A positive I suppose! Three winning days were overshadowed by a nightmare Saturday, however. Love too drew a blank on Saturday. I’m really starting to think that Saturday was created by the devil as revenge for the Lord’s Day.
All three newbie freebies were in the red but none by more than £16. Racecracker, which has struggled all year on Saturdays, was -£82.50 and to think that someone thought this diary was only here to promote Racecracker!
Football -£12.54
No midweek action and all losses on Devil’s Day.
Tennis -£120.08
As I attempt to extricate myself from Wadster, he had a very busy week resulting in deepening losses to the tune of £120.
Golf +£81.75
The usual exciting week with Andrew Wilson (who?) being tipped at 500/1 and starting day four just two off the lead. Dropping a shot on the second meant that Sky TV seemed to forget who he was as well. Thankfully he birdied the last two holes to capture a place at 100/1. In the States, best showing in the pairs event was a place for Riley and Zalatoris. All in all, another good week.
Summary
Another disappointing week of -£235 but Wadster will win most of their losses back, Love only gave back half of last week’s winnings and the newbies only started on Thursday so very early days. Most disappointing at the moment is definitely Racecracker, most worrying Northern Monkey. I hope this sorry loss of form ends soon. After seven years he seems like a family friend.
