This series is all about the ups and downs of a tipster portfolio approach to sports betting. It’s not here to directly promote any of the services and it’s certainly not here to criticise them either (after all, I’d be quite the fool to stake my own money on a service I don’t have faith in!)
Ultimately, the sole goal is to show that, despite the natural peaks and troughs, it is possible to make a good side income from sports betting if you follow the right services. All it takes is a little bit of organisation, and plenty of patience!
Please Note: I’ve written an introduction to this betting diary feature which you will need to read first to make sense of the below. You can find it on the Bet Chat website by clicking this link.
Horse Racing
A good week for Flat Flyers rom Lucrative, a small part of my freebies selections. They hit £177 profit mainly due to a 33/1 winner. Raceology produced a profit for the second week of three but as only their Friday tips are free it didn’t amount to much. Northern Monkey had another bad week of -£175 but Racecracker produced +£85 for the week, so all in all it was +£55 for the racing which continues to provide absolutely no consistency.
Football
Off season so only one bet – a loser.
Golf
High odds placers on both tours resulted in an insignificant £8.50 loss.
Summary
Not all weeks can provide excitement and this week proved it. Nice personally to see Racecracker back to some form. The week overall ended +£26 but profitable each day to Thursday then gave it nearly all back by Sunday!
Two other bits of news… I have joined We Bet You Bet so we’ll see how that goes but it’s very small stakes so won’t have much immediate impact. Secondly, through this I have learnt that Wadster, my tennis service, is run by Aidan Wardle. I am a massive fan of his so I am continuing this service from the 12th.
