RBC Heritage Golf Tournament (Thursday 13 th May to Sunday 16 th May)

Let’s reflect quickly on The Masters and credit to John Rahm who put in a superb performance to
win the tournament for the first time. The major surprise was Rory Mcllroy missing the cut after
showing good form leading up to the first major of the year. Colin Morikawa grabbed a joint 10 th
place finish and Justin Rose just missed out on a top 10 finish after showing promising signs early on.

Moving onto this week’s tournament, we are focusing on the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf
Links for the PGA Tour players.

Jordan Spieth won the event last year after a play-off win over Patrick Cantley. Seven players were
tied in third, including J.T Poston and Cameron Young. Both of these players are ones to watch this
week for us.

This tournament is one of the new high profile PGA Tour events with a big prize for the winner and
so it will see all the top tier players taking part. Thus, it’s no surprise that Scheffler and Rahm are
heading the market at 17/2 (bet365) and 10/1 (Betfred) respectively.

With narrow fairways and some tough greens, it’s not about power this week. It will be the accurate
players who will benefit most and those who aren’t may well be in for a tough few days.

With this in mind, here are our picks for the RBC Heritage…

Selections

All bets are recommended each-way

Matt Kuchar @ 50/1 with Skybet (⅕ the odds 8 places)

Matt can put in another top performance here and repeat his good finish from 2022. He likes the
course and will be looking to continue his fine recent form having finished tied 3 rd a few weeks ago in
the Valero Texas Open. The price reflects that Kuchar isn’t one of the younger and more athletic
players on tour, but knowing this course is a big advantage and, at a decent each-way price, Kuchar
is one we’re following this week.

J.T Poston @ 70/1 with SkyBet (⅕ the odds 8 places)

Following the same lines as Kuchar, at big odds, we’re putting up last year’s joint 3rdplace finisher J.T
Poston to be among the places this week at RBC Heritage. His recent form at the course is 6th, 8th, missed cut and 3rd, so there is plenty of knowledge of the course and, if J.T is on his game throughout
the four days, then we could see a similar finish to last year.
